The sun is something you can not control, but watering your lawn is something you have complete control over. There are many different types of watering devices to keep your lawn healthy such as automated systems and the traditional hose and sprinklers. Oscillating sprinklers are great for large or small lawns and can cover up to 20-30 ft. So how much do you need to drinking water your lawn? New seed should be lightly watered daily and one day a week should be watered until about an inch of drinking water has been dispersed. Regular lawns should be watered lightly every day or so depending on the climate. Use rain gauges and drinking water timers to help adjust how much you should be watering. Another common question is when should you drinking water. Watering early in the morning gives the lawn enough time to soak up the drinking water before the sun arrives out. Avoid watering late at evening because this could cause disease. Last, remember to pay attention to your lawn. Drinking water more during dry spells and less when it rains.
